About Unusual Tours:
 
Unusual Tours specializes in creating custom bicycle tours for small groups. Their logistics and support services allows groups of 6 to 22 riders to create their own full support tour without having to deal with all of the planning, logistics, and gear requirements. This allows you, as the tour organizer, to choose your own route and set your own pace. You also have the freedom to mix local events and activities in with your ride. The organizer is in charge of the invitations so you can ensure that you have a compatible group of riders for your tour.
 
Unusual Tours provides full SAG support during your ride. A 2 man crew with a fully equipped SAG wagon is there to take care of any mechanical or first aid needs. Sports drinks, water, and snacks are provided to keep you fueled up during your ride. And when it is time for lunch they pull out the tables and chairs and a nice spread of food for your enjoyment. And if you just need a break, you can get a SAG ride any time that you want.
 
Unusual Tours takes care of all of your transportation needs from start to finish. They pick up your group at the designated meeting place (usually Portland), shuttles them to the start of the ride, and then brings them back after your ride. During your ride they transport all of your gear so you can "ride lite". Transportation is available throughout your tour in case of inclement weather, forest fires, or simply to get a ride into town for a special dinner.
 

Your group can choose motel accommodations, camping or a combination of both. Camping allows your group to tour out of the way places where other accommodations are not available. Unusual Tours provides all of the gear for "comfort camping" with everything including the kitchen sink and hot showers. And for "FULL comfort camping" they offer a tent and porter service that provides a large tent and queen size airbed waiting for you when you ride into camp.
 
Priced competitively with the large event tours, Unusual Tours services allows you to create your own little Cycle Oregon event for just you and your friends.

For 2011 Unusual Tours is opening up thier territory to the greater Pacific Northwest. If your group wants to venture out beyond Oregon they can put an custom tour together for you.

 
For those who want FULL comfort camping, Unusual Tours now offers an aptional tent and porter service. When you ride into camp you will find you bags waiting in a large family tent with a queen sized airbed made up with conventional bedding. No need to squirm around in a sleeping bag on the ground.
